The 15th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry Regiment lost 8 officers and 232 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded and 1 officer and 131 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War. It is honored by a monument at Salem Church, Virginia, on the New Jersey Brigade monument at Gettysburg, and by a monument on the Spotsylvania battlefield.The Rosenthal lithographic prints of Civil War encampments comprises 23 color lithographs printed by Rosenthal’s Lith. of Philadelphia between 1861 and 1865.
