The Suburban Handicap is an American grade thoroughbred horse race. It was started in 1884 at Leonard Jerome’s Sheepshead Bay Race Track and later moved to Belmont Park. It is part of the New York Handicap Triple series and is a very important race. This print is in very good condition with a small paper loss in left margin only. It is a double sheet with publisher’s center fold and published by Harper’s Weekly and has the signature in the plate.
