The Return

The Return shows two equestrians and their pack of hunting hounds on their way back to the barn that is seen in the distance. A beautiful, richly colored etching by Eugene Leliepvre (1906-2009). He was the military painter to the Musee de l’Armee of France. It is in very good condition, published by Sidney Lucas. It is signed in pencil by the artist. This is one of a series of hunting scenes. Paper size is 19.25 x 25.25 and image is 13 x 19.25
