The Marriage of Pochahontas

The Marriage of Pochahontas an engraving  done after the painting ” The Wedding of Pochahontas ” by Henry Brueckner. Pochahontas was the daughter of Pouhatan, chief of the Algonquin tribe. In 1614 she married John Smith and this scene is an enactment of that important event in American history. A rare print beautifully hand-colored  in good condition.
