Between 1900 & 1931 Eugene Alain Seguy produced eleven albums of illustration and design including ” Suggestions For Sruffs and Carpets”. The pochoir technique was a perfect medium for Seguy’s brilliant use of color to create decorative designs and patterns which has provided material for designers of textile,wallpaper, murals, ceramics, book illustration and advertisements during the 19th and 20th century. This print is in good condition. the bottom margin is cut to the image. Will not show when framed.
