Paul en Arlequin by Pablo Picasso is a limited edition color lithograph from the original 1924 painting that was in the artists personal collection and is now part of the permanent collection of the Musee Picasso in Paris. In 1980 under the direction of the Louvre Museum’s printing experts this painting was reproduced on museum -grade Velin D’Arches 100% rag paper in an edition of 5000.The World Treasure Society had been appointed to distribute this print and hand numbered each individual impression. The presentation of this edition coincided with the celebration of the opening of the Musee Picasso which opened in Paris,1981. The plate that was created for this edition has been effaced. The publishers description as seen in one of the photos is in a sleeve on the back of the frame.
