In July 1917 the United States branch of the YMCA opened it’s doors to women for the first time during WWI. Canteens or huts were put up near the war front and the women were on site to serve refreshments , hand out books, etc. The woman in this poster is one of those woman. This is a very historic poster with bold color and a great image. and in good condition. There is one little spot that you can see bottom left on her cape that is missing paper. A great treasure for any ones collection.
