Mother + Child

Marcel Vertes (1895 – 1961) although born in Hungary, lived in Paris for most of his artistic life. He was known for capturing the spirit of 1920’s Paris with his portrayals of the Paris street scenes, women, circus and cabaret acts. This limited edition print, numbered 150/200, is in good condition with a couple of tears on the bottom and side edges. There are 3 or 4 professionally repaired splits around the edges. None of these affects the image. Signed in pencil by the artist.
