The Hooded Merganser by the famous ornithological artist John Gould ( 1804 – 1881 ) is plate no.36
of volume 5 from his ” Birds of Great Britain” . This five volume set of 367 speices of birds took 11 years to complete. This beautiful hand colored lithograph is in excellant condition and is archivally framed.
