Le Roy Mene au Trone from the Series Le Sacre de Louis XV  (1722-1731 )  is an etching by French artist Charles Nicolas Cochin the Elder (  1688-1754 ) (aft.) Pierre Dulin. The scene of the coronation is in the interior of Rheims also know as Notre Dame Cathedral.  Notre-Dame de Reims, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the French city of the same name, the archiepiscopal see of the Archdiocese of Reims. The cathedral was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was the traditional location for the coronation of the kings of France. The preparatory drawing for this etching is in the Musee du Louvre, Paris.

This original hand colored etching is in good condition with an original fold down the middle and minor discoloration on the title  as can be seen in the photos.
