“Grouse II” from Cassell’s Illustrated Book of the Dog. This volume was a treatise on just about everything a dog owner needed to know about the care, management and business of dog breeding. As you can see there is paper missing in the top right corner. The margins are all a bit ragged and there is a repaired tear in the left side margin. But it is such a beautiful portrait and is still very flammable. The image is in very good condition otherwise.
