Country Sounds 1983

Country Sounds is an original limited edition [ 253/325 ]  1983 serigraph by the Chinese/American artist Chase Chen depicting a young woman running thru a field in a white blouse and holding onto her blue skirt. Signed in pencil by the artist and in excellent condition.

Born into a family of doctors and growing up during the cultural revolution Chinese born Chase Chen Chenoff (b. 1962 Shanghai ) migrated to the United States in the 1980’s to rejoin his family. Having a background in art he moved to New York and became a full time artist. He eventually moved to California where he maintains a studio. His style reflects both impressionism and realism giving the viewer a feeling of entering a landscape of another world and beautiful woman doing ordinary things. Chen’s paintings are in collections all over the world.
