Circassion Slaves, Constantinople

An interesting scene of Russian woman in slavery in what is known today as Istanbul, Turkey. A very peaceful scene although the women have been allotted a life they did not choose. Historically very interesting. In good condition except for the upper left margin which is torn. Does not affect the image or come near to it. A beautiful lithograph.
