Stan Washburn  ( b. 1943- ) is a painter, print maker, and a writer. His work inclines to the whimsical and mildly absurd. His art is in the collections of the Chicago Art Institute,  the Brooklyn Museum, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Frye Museum,  the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Achenbach Foundation,  the Portland Art Museum and  the New York Public Library  among others.
