Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin ( 1870-1935) British artist and illustrator was best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports and rural life. In 1894 he was commisioned to illustrate Rudyard Kiplings ” The Jungle Book” . He was a very popular and admired artist. This beautiful print was published by Lawrence and Bullen Ltd. London. It is in good condition except for a repaired tear that goes a little way into the image and the bottom edge of the border is a little ragged none of which would show with framing.
